Modern Nail Reviews

First time ever being at modern nails and they did a fabulous job. First thing I had called asking for availability and they were able to get me in within 20 minutes amazing! I got there was greeted and was shown all the colors with the book and even got help with a photo I had for an idea and we both came up with these amazing nails! He was very very friendly and even took his time to shape make sure it was the color I wanted and that I actually liked them! I am very impressed with this service and will be going here from now on. Not only that but to mention that the price for these nails makes me want to come back even more! Thank you so much!!! So happy with these!!!

While Kennedy was nice, this is what my nails were supposed to look like versus what I ended up with for $72... I sadly did not leave happy -Update- So two to three weeks after I got my nails done, when my nails eventually came off, I noticed that some of my nails had been bruised/turned green in some spots. Even now, two months later, they are STILL GREEN and I know it's not nail polish residue due to the fact that nail polish remover did absolutely nothing. Absolutely DO NOT get your nails done here. Not only do they not care and aren't interested in making things right, but they have ZERO customer service skills. I even forgot to include in my earlier review that when I went to pay for my nails and made it known how disappointed I was with my nails and how terrible they came out and looked nothing like the picture I gave the girl to copy from, the girl who was standing at the counter next to the guy who rang me up immediately went over to another employee and said something while turning towards me and pointing while laughing.

LOVE my nails, so many compliments and so cute! Cant wait to go back!!

Within 2 hours of leaving after my pedicure, both of my pinky nail polishes FELL OFF. My daughter showed me hers and unfortunately after we left that her polish doesn’t even cover all of her toes. I also had to fix my nails bc there was gel polish all over my skin (I was fine fixing this without bringing it to their attention) before having the other issues as well. I called to get a partial refund. I do NOT live in this state and going back for a “fix” wasn’t an option. They absolutely refused to work with me considering I couldn’t come back. Extremely disappointed bc I get things happen but make better what you can and you CAN give me a partial refund. You chose NOT to! UPDATE! In addition one of my daughter’s nails fell off 8 hours after we left!!!! She didn’t even know it happened. I found it lying on the counter. Clearly VERY poor work in addition to their unwillingness to make things right.

I’ve been coming here on and off since 2022. I always say if I go get my nails done there 5 times, 3/5 times are good, and the other two are bad. I call ahead and make a reservation and usually get stuck with a new person who majorly messes them up. My last straw was today when I had a reservation and specifically requested someone who could do nail art. I was assured they would set me up with a nail tech who could do nail art. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth. All of my nails are different length and shape when I asked for almond and to keep them long because she cut them and shaped them so poorly. And the nail art was so bad I had to ask her to just paint the two nails a solid color while the other nails have air bubbles in them. My cuticles are raw and my nails are a disaster. I gave 2 stars because they do have some talented nail techs here! But I don’t appreciate being lied to and having my nails looking like this when I have a family event coming up next week. Incredibly disappointed, I had wanted to make this my nail salon.
